The anniversary will be celebrated on November 27 with Holy Mass and on November 21 with the traditional gala concert. This year's concert will be dedicated to contemporary Christian music played by notable Slovenian musicians and singers. The event will also be enriched with the testimonies of radio coworkers that will share their view on prayer and the experience of the presence of God in their marriages and family lives. On the last year's 15th anniversary pope Benedict XVI. invoked his apostolic blessing on the radio station and wrote in a note: “May you remain a big family that finds its happiness in witnessing, encouraging and giving strength to the virtues of Slovenian men an women. May your kind, good, determined and unflinching words reach the hearts of all the listeners and open them for Jesus Christ. May He be your guide and you His apostles. Remain joyful preachers and witnesses of His Word!” With the 16th anniversary, the editor in chief monsignor Franci Trstenjak wishes to improve the current program with features which will be nearer to modern radio programme trends but at the same time remain faithful to its purpose and its mission as a Catholic radio. At the same time he expresses fear regarding the preparation of the new media law which brings additional and higher expenses considering the fact that the radio could lose the special status it gained in 2004.
